Up You! Budget!!!

Hi there,

I always start things with Hi there don't really know when it started when I worked with all men in my corporate life. When they achieved a goal they were always on such a natural high. That became my saying. My personal feelings are that I hope everyone achieves their own personal goal. I had a dad that believed there is enough room for each man, woman and child to achieve their goals in life. The day there isn't enough room then that is the day the world STOPS! Why? It's simple man will start ending the lives of other men to survive. I believe it is in the bible. Now that that is said! Up You Budget! I have the right to what I want!

How many times have I seen a bride, person hired Pure Diamond Events ask can I get this / that for free! No, I am not in the business to give you free things it all come with a price. You can take the planner out of it. Contracting the people yourself. They are not in the business of giving you items for free. However, when you purchase certain packages then you may receive another item without cost to you. That means that business already added it into the factor of doing business.

What makes one business different than another? It has to do with what is important to the business owner. MK Pure Diamond Events encourages you to have a budget. We try to help our clients stay on budget. However, if the client adds extra service than we have to add extra cost. That means even if the contract is done signed and paid for if you decide you want additional items like another photographer, more alcohol beverages, additional guest you will be charged more money.

The BBB Better Business Bureau has excellent resource for those of you who are about to enter into contract with many vendors. You can see if the vendors you are doing business with are accredited and believe in what the BBB believe in. This is to protect you the consumer and the business owner. They help stop Up Your Budget! 😅 Fight!

Conversation with Maria Kamon©™ @ Anchor

Hi there,

Conversation that is where sometimes business deals are made.

What type of business should I start asked the high schooler? As he thinks about what he will be doing for college money?

How do I pay college debt?

Where and how do I become employee?

How much money? Cost of living? Family?

There are so many questions I have as a teen graduating. I had them entering my senior year and now it's a reality.

This and much more is what we discussed on anchor @ https://anchor.fm/maria-kamon-mkpde?at=587530 Where we talk about meetings, weddings, event's and much more. There is more to life than business. There is more to business than life.

Now you can listen to an the entire episode titled conversation on iTunes at Maria Kanon..©™ @MKPDE

Green

                        The  Echoing Green
The sun does arise
And make happy the skies;
The merry bells ring
To welcome the spring;
The skylark and thrush,
The birds of the bush,
Sing louder around
To the bell's cheerful sound,
While our sports shall be seen
On the Echoing Green.

Old John with white hair,
Does laugh away care,
Sitting under the oak,
Among the old folk.
They laugh at our play,
And soon they all say:
'Such, such were the joys
When we all, girls and boys,
In our youth time were seen
On the Echoing Green.'

Till the little ones, weary,
No more can be merry;
The sun does descend,
And our sports have an end.
Round the laps of their mothers
Many sisters and brother,
Like birds in their nest,
Are ready for rest,
And sport no more seen
On the darkening Green.

How I make my Money!

Hi there,

I often get asked how image my money. What money I ask?  I am trying to re-enter after working for a hotel and receiving the betting of a lifetime. Long hours low pay, constant demands and complaints of guest. What do you mean you might ask.. I discovered that the meeting and event planning industry and the hotel industry haven't opposing viewpoints on meetings, events and wedding. It helped me in redefining my business.

MK Pure Diamond Events plans more towards marketing and PR then it does the hospitality industry. The hotel industry leans towards more of the hospitality industry and not so much on the Marketing and PR of the meeting, wedding, event. While I was working there all these different times and hours I rediscovered the enjoyment I feel when I write a blog that not only brings information. Customer empowerment. What is a good product what isn't.

I'm taking it to the next level and becoming a professional blogger. Blogdash is one of the company's I have chosen to help take me there. If your a blogger interested in receiving paid employment opportunities click.

8 Tips When Men Are Hammering On Your Roof Top

Hi there, Reader;

Have you ever heard the song "If I Had A Hammer" it's lyrics are:

If I had a hammer
I'd hammer in the morning
I'd hammer in the evening
All over this land
I'd hammer out danger
I'd hammer out a warning
I'd hammer out love between
My brothers and my sisters
All over this land, uh
If I had a bell
I'd ring it in the morning
I'd ring it in the evening
All over this land
I'd ring out danger
I'd ring out a warning
I'd ring out love between
My brothers and my sisters
All over this land, oh
If I had a song
I'd sing it in the morning
I'd sing it in the evening
All over this land
I'd sing out danger
I'd song of out a warning
I'd sing out love between
My brothers and my sisters
All over this land, oh
Well, I've got a hammer
And I've got a bell
And I've got a song to sing
All over this land
It's the hammer of justice
It's the bell of freedom
It's a song about love between
My brothers and my sisters
All over this land
It's a hammer of justice
It's a bell of freedom
It's a song about love between my brothers and my sisters
All over this land
Songwriters: Lee Hays / Pete Seeger
The song discuss and ideal time in the world. When the help of one was the goal of another. What if you catch me on the roof top? What the ? Offering new construction you don't want or need?

How does one cope? When there is new construction in you business and the man on the roof top is trying to force the direction of they ways things should be without consulting you in real person?

1. Read and know the companies Mission Statement.

2. Call him out! Draw attention to the fact he is making a mistake and it will cost him money.

3. Still in accepting of the fact. Re- explain step 1 and 2.

4. This one is rather sad, file a report with the proper authorities.

5. Consider the legal steps that need to be taken to stop further actions.

6. Just because the man on the roof top wants doesn't means he gets.

7. Book, book the proper authorities to speak to the man on the rooftop and tell him your not interested in what he brought you or the company he hired to do the job.

8. Don't settle for what the false will of someone else. We live in a state that doesn't allow people to force their will upon you.

The Images Of Others Do Not Have To Become Our Reality

Hi there, Reader;

I was doing one of the things I love the most, reading when I came across this image and thought. I can use this to make my reality know to others.

Sometimes in life we are forced into someone's reality. It might be because you have to take care of an aging parent, or your sister is ill and can't deal with her reality, so finances hits you in an unexpected way, because what you and your husband had plan won't happen due to reposibilty you didn't expect. Whatever, the reason. Here are somethings to keep you focused on truth.

1. There, reality doesn't have to be your truth. Stick with your truth.  What was your truth from childhood is still your truth today. You just have more.life experience. Meaning if you prayed, meditated, contemplated, you can still do that today.

2. Doing the right thing isn't a ways the easiest thing. Sometimes, it hurts your name and reputation. It's something you don't need to examine to people.

3. Being true doesn't always look like it.

4. Plan the best you can for the future, it won't always be what His best is, however as they say, to thine own self be true.

5. Stick with what you know, meaning let your yes be yes and your no be no. Trust, your truth, let Go and Let God.

6. You have a future. A Hope.

2017 Let's Talk Travel

Hi there, Reader;

Kate Spade

I am so excited to share this one with you that I will be posting this on all four of my blogs. It is the best there is for Honeymoon or Vacation.  Have you ever heard of getting paid for travel? I had not heard of it either until I read and saw this video from Time Magazine and Money Magazine. Sounds like a great way to save money and start planning a honeymoon to be remembered. Yes, there are couple who sometimes what to forget their honeymoon because it was ill planned. I confess to all of you I loved my honeymoon and all the little surprises my groom planned for us. It just wasn't long enough because work changed the start dates and called him.

Here are my suggestions.

1. Let your supervisor know that you are requesting time off.  Not early, nor late, each work handbook has the number of days you are suppose to submit the paperwork so do it at the appropriate time. I have heard of workers.

2. Don't tell them you are getting married if you are planning a small wedding and not inviting them. If you have to submit a reason why. The put small intimate wedding. It may or may not create hurt feelings in the workplace. It's the same mentality as when your a child and someone doesn't get invited to the birthday party.

3. Take the time to learn the interest of your wife/husband before you plan the wedding. Don't take them to the middle of Africa to camp if they are all about loving city life. It doesn't mean you can't plan a trip like that latter. It is just not advisable for your honeymoon.

4. Know how much your going to spend and then if possible double it. We all have shopping moments Plus when traveling it is better to have too much money rather than too little. Isn't that true about life.

5. Enjoy your honey...It should be a time to better get to know each other. Make future plans. Talk about nothing and talk about everything before the big responsibilities set in. What is that responsibility? You've lived together and dated for a while. Maybe, you don't live together... It's called life and daily living.

This is a disclaimer, although I am registered travel agent, I am not receiving any money at this time from these companies for writing about their magazine and video link,

From Time Magazine (Click on the Link)
The article from Money Magazine reads like this.

What is in it for me?

Many times I get asked: "If I hire an event planner what is in it for me?"

My reply:

1.  "I take the stress from your event and creat a "Diamond Event"
2.  I take the problems of not knowing and give you "vendors" who do.
3.  I take your budget worry problems and  give you an "Diamond Event" you can afford.
4.  I take a day full of worries and give you a "Diamond Day" full of all the happiness and joy you can receive.
5.  I take all your phone calls, listen to your complaints, work with your people, so that your photographs are the best they can be.
6.  I take the drunk guest that would ruin your party before you see him and get the security and ask him/her to leave.  Without it bringing shame to your "Diamond Event"
7.  Is it always perfect, No, no one can guarantee that an event planner will make things completely perfect, all the time.  There are things in life that even event planners don't expect.  Therefore,  all we can do is our best.  "
