Canada 150 Years Old |
Hi there, Readers;
This is such an exciting year all around the world with different nations celebrating different anniversaries in fight to be recognized throughout the years in History. I confess I really don't know much about Canada, other than it is cold weather and beautiful countryside in the spring and summer. When I read this article that it is a good year to visit Canada in business because of its celebration I knew I had to write a blog about it. In the hopes I will be hired to speak or plan a meeting there. Our neighbors to the United States are rather quiet in US History and probably an excellent choice for planning a business meetings or event in the lovely country.
In Montreal this year there is more to celebrate than the Confederation. The city celebrates 375th birthday. There will be a slew of celebrations throughout the city. There is so much history there. It appeals to us like New York, Chicago or San Fransico. It will have its celebrations of lights, music and history.
Hours northeast is Montreal sits an even high settlement: Quebec City, Founded in 1608 by Samuel de Champlain. This is the only fortified city north of Mexico.
