Here are some idea.
This venue has a pretty wining road, however it was off season and everything was the traditional shades of brown when transitioning from winter to spring.
The good thing was that your guest and delivery drive straight into the parking area. The not so good thing is your guest will see the deliveries if they happen to get there early and since there isn't anyplace near by you would have to provide some type of beverage for the while they wait.
Number of Guest
Will children be attending?
Food Needs
Drinking alcohol or no alcohol.
Will you be having a dance?
DJ available or Live band?
Tables and chairs
Photographers look at the venue and know if there are photo spots. What we use to call Kodak moments. A beautiful area in the venue where you can pose with family for photos.
3. Know your Date year and Time
The venue may or may not be able to accommodate your first choice. If you really want a certain day then start planning a year in advance.
Ask the venue what if questions. ex: What if it rains?
What if more people show up then I expected.
Have your question written down because they can be incorporated into the contract.
What comes with the venue rental?
Caterer
Photographer
DJ etc.
Do they have a Prefered vendors list.
5. Where is the closest location out of town guest can stay.
