Hi there,
I know and understood that travel can become a day or days of packing your suitcase with all the items you'll need. It is about carry on luggage backpack or purse, backpack or briefcase. Do I have enough battery charges, cords, photo memory cards batteries. And the list goes on and on of all the things you'll need.
What you really need is to take care of yourself. All those things can be replaced. You can't. Here are some travel tips to start one or two days before traveling.
Before You Fly
Eat healthy. Eat lots of greens, vegetables, fruits and berries. Drink beverages that will hydrate you. Make sure you have clean bowels before your flight. You know the cabin humidity is only at 2% where the average human needs it to be between 30 - 60%. Therefore, dehydration happens easily.
While you fly! Make sure not to drink coffee or alcoholic beverage they dehydrate. It is best to order beverages that hydrate over the dehydrate types.
"On longer trips dehydration leads to headache and weakening of the immune immunity system drink a cup or two of water per hour. Our experts say if the lips are smooth and the feet feel moist you have found your hydration sweet spot." (Smart Magazine)
Did you know that the airport is a germ warfare area. Therefore, one should look for vitamins and other items that will renourish the body. Consider taking vitamin C during your flight or before entering the airplane. Did you know "Gwyneth Paltrow takes 4 - 5 vitamin C's when she is seated in the plane so that by the time the plane trip is over she still feels energized." Smart Magazine I also would like you to consider a product name "Emergency" which helps build the immune system. Just click on the link and you can purchase from Amazon with my discount prices. I apologize the name of the product is Airborne.
Post Flight
Now that you have started these healthy patterns try to keep them going. I understand that during your trip there must have been all kinds of temptations. In the hours after landing it's important to continue to hydrate to eat healthy and get good sleep till the body adjust to the new time zone.
