Luggage and Travel 2017

Hi there;

What a great exciting world it is. Many things to see experience and become a part of.  The first thing you want to do is travel. To where and how much will it cost? Budget planning is part of travel and although many things come easy if it's your first business trip you might not find it all that easy.

Passport

Let's talk a little about what practical things done today will help you in the future.

1. Make sure you have all the physical requirements for the trip. What shots do you need to take before you travel as a preventative measure.

2. Make sure your passport is up to date. Address and contact info current.

3. Make sure you have emergency numbers. If traveling out of the country the embassy or whomever can help you in an emergency. There might be apps that can help. I also like to have these numbers written on a piece of paper, planner agenda just in case battery failure.

4. There are some countries that seem foreign like Puerto Rico, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa. you don't need a passport for. The land is territory of the United States of America and therefore guarantee safe travel. Some of these places are still trying to become state. It's interesting read in the history books how long some of them have been fighting to become an independent state. What is required to become the 51 state of the United States of America.

5. Have a separate cash fund for travel. Before you get the company credit card make sure you have a personal credit card and cash sach just for travel. This makes turning in those reimbursement receipts so much easier. I know there are apps that will email straight to the office, however companies still require paper receipt for taxes.

6. Try to resist social drinking. Say no to alcohol while on business travel. The reason is it impairs judgements. When this happens it is giving the advantages to the other business. It is acceptable to have an elegant glass of wine with dinner. I'm not sure about you, if I have to travel for business I'm there to win the contract so I can make money for my business, therefore I want to be able to think. When in doubt order what the highest executive is drinking. If you don't drink alcohol just say so.

Luggage:

Traveling is lots of fun when one is prepared. I have traveled and through experience discovered that anything I forget can be purchased. I have also realized that when at all possible a carry on beats baggage check in. The truth is we all purchase things. Cloths, shoes, photographs, paintings, and just sovinars. Therefore, if you have too you can check in an empty luggage or purchase one on traveling and check in your luggage on return fight. Travel Light.  Samsonite

1.  Keep it light weight please. Don't take full sizes of products you use at home.

2. Did you know you can pack a weeks worth of cloths in a carry on. I've done it. Plus makeup,  shoes accessories plus a formal for an event I had to attended. Remember you can always have you cloths pressed while your there. I just called the minute I got in the room and unpacked to have my formal dress pressed. For a few dollars I saved a whole lot of time. This also works for business suits.

What is the Best Luggage?

Luggage is a personal choice. You can visit Google.com for the top sellers in luggage. They vary from Walmart $25.00 to hundreds of dollars. Here are some things to think about.

1. Hard Body or Soft Body?
 What is it really that you need? Do you need it to carry your computer and all your business equipment or just your clothing? Nautica
3. Do you want luggage you can identify where ever you travel? It just is all about who you are and what your doing? This little luggage let's you know when you've arrived. Izak
