Who, What, When Is Your Pain In The Neck...STOP

Hi there, Reader;

How many times have you hear someone in the office complain of having a "pain in the neck"? Let's take a moment and look at all the high technology devises your using. Our bodies might not be made for the technology we are using.

Six ways to help our bodies with the problem.
Make sure you have enough time.

1. Body awareness: when you are using the telephone or computer make sure you make the adjustments you can to the machines your using. Can' adjust the machines than adjust your desk, so it does not put strain on your neck shoulders or hands.

2. Bring electronic devices closer to your body, rather than lean into the device.

3. Take a break from your devices and go for a walk. Stretch your arms and legs to help you not grow stiff and have muscle soreness. One of my doctors recommended doing eye exercise. Pick up and object and hold it near for a few seconds and pull it far for a few seconds. Let your eyes focus at each stop point.

4. 30 minute breaks. Every thirty minutes stop what your doing and ask yourself how your posture is. How your arms and legs are and how you feel. It might take all of thirty seconds to think about posture,

5. There is great information out there about body and intelligence, test both on a regular bases to see where you are, it is important to have mind, body control over oneself.

6. Neck kindness and overall health. Technology can make us more productive, however they do hinder your health and happiness.

7. This is one of my favorite, take a yoga or stretching class in the evening after work. Doesn't
have to be everyday. Several times a week is good. Core work to help the muscles stay is an important part of staying healthy.
