Hi there, Reader:
I want you to know I absolutely love where I live. It is the
best place to live in all of California. There is no other place in the world
that I would want to live. We have the best of world in San Diego, California. It
has the latest, greatest, famous, the want to be famous, the poor, the rich it
has it all. Why would you want to live anywhere else?
With all of that there are some safety tips you have to
understand about our local beaches.

1.
Safety first. Always, make sure there is a life
guard on duty before you enter the waters. You never know what will be swimming
around you. Sharks, yes they exist. Where it’s a local knowledge and I am
forbidden to tell where and how many. I will share with you there has been a
movie or two made about our local beaches. Don't worry to much about the timber or if you hear someone tell, "Timber!", that just means another one fell. You"ll just have to visit the Lumberyard. I'd tell you where that is, what fun would that be for you? I like to leave things for you to discover. Who, what, when, where, why might be good questions to teach your children. Would that be an announce for you on vacation?
2.
Don’t get carried away by all the famous people
we have who come out to our beaches to sun tan or swim or for water-sports. That Malibu thing in LA is nothing compared to
San Diego Beaches. You might just walk by a famous, Changer, Padre, Surfer pro,
Tony Hawk, Swictfoot…you just never know. They will be acting like an ordinary person….don’t
get to carried away. If you just talk to with them like a regular person they will talk
with you and answer all their question. Most of us are kind to guest. However,
the autograph thing is usually for those under the age of 12. Otherwise, it
might just cost you money. We enjoying leaving our movies stars to be just that…what
God intended them to be. Movie star. The rich, the famous, San Digian’s accept
all people and allow you to live your own private lives.
3.
Whatever you do; “DON”T TOUCH THE SURFBOARD!!!”. You can look at them you can admire them, you
can covet it, you can even ask the lifeguard if the surfer is okay, because it
looks abandoned. But “DON’T TOUCH THE SURFBOARD!!!”
4.
If you want something to eat. There are our
delicious restaurants all along the cost. If you are going to eat after you
have been at the beach and haven’t taken a shower or washed off the sand.
Please sit outside. We invite you. That’s where we sit all are unclean
people. Actually, most of beach restaurants
have a beach special you can enjoy. It’s just our food is so good we won’t let
go. I think I said that wrong…you won’t
want to let go. You can walk anywhere in Encinitas, and find a delicious resturant to eat at.
5.
Please pay attention to the signs. This one is a
serious safety tip. The beaches in some places are divided into surf or
swimming areas this has to do with the tide and public safety. The lifeguard direct this and is in control of this. If you are in the city of Encinitas, please do stop by Hansen’s and ask for their Tide book. This is really good for children. It helps them understand the current and safety. Encinitas and other local beaches love for children to learn, all about the local beaches and it’s beauty along with it’s dangers.

6.
Clean-up your mess. Would you want your neighbor
to put trash in your house? No! The local’s appreciate it when visitors clean
up after themselves. I have always believed that what you give you get.
7.
Have fun! Don’t forget to visit the other local
attractions. If you have a moment visit the San Diego Tourism website for discounts on local attractions.
